It seemed to be the hottest day in Scotland ever…There seemed to be more people in Grangemouth Leisure Centre than ever…
This led to probably the best DKKQ heat in Scotland – EVER!!!
The Dancelines DKKQ tour bus pulled into town to find that Marie McAuley Doubtfire had worked overtime to ensure that this heat was yet another 2011sell-out with schools desperate for tickets. This led to a great day with almost 11 hours of dancing!!!
The standard was excellent and it was difficult to reduce the DKKQ and Slowdance SuperStars down to the qualification finals… but the judges did their job well and Scotland will again have some of the very best dancers in Blackpool Tower Ballroom in December…. just make sure you book your tickets early guyz!!!
This year seems to be going by so quickly…. the DKKQ tour next hits Stratford Upon Avon on the 4th September, then Limerick (Ennis) a week later, Haywards Heath on the 25th…. with the final heat in Sheffield on October 9th…… and then it’s the GRAND FINALS.
With the results so far we can be sure that despite the winter weather Blackpool Tower Ballroom will be just like Grangemouth…. HOT HOT HOT!!!
